Anthony Trace QC graduated from Cambridge with a First in Law in 1980. He was called to the Bar in 1981 and appointed a Queen’s Counsel in 1998. During his 37 year career as a litigator he led many of the most high profile cases in the UK and International courts, including acting for Berezovsky, in the Lehman Brothers administration & in the Beijing Olympic ticket fraud proceedings. He now brings his extensive experience of litigation tactics to his mediation practice.
Anthony is accredited by CEDR and by the London School of Mediation, is a Civil Mediation Council registered mediator and on the CEDR Consumer Panel.
Anthony was voted “Commercial Mediator of the Year – England” in the Corporate LiveWire Global Awards 2018, was voted “Mediator of the Year” in the Innovation & Excellence Awards 2019, and has recently been voted “Mediator of the Year in England” in the 2020 Global Law Experts Annual Awards.
Anthony is also an Ecclesiastical Judge and an NHS Continuing Healthcare Independent Review Panel Chair.
